Jeb Wallace serves as Principal Horn with the Wichita Symphony Orchestra and Music Theatre Wichita, and is a member of the Lieurance Woodwind Quintet, Wichita Brass Quintet, Ad-Venturi Horn Duo, and Inverness Trio. Recent solo appearances include the International Horn Society Symposium (44th,45th, 47th, and 48th Conferences), Southwest Horn Workshop, Northwest Horn Symposium, Hornfest Calgary, Southeast Horn Workshop, Park City Beethoven Festival, Salty Cricket Composer’s Collective, WSU Symphony Orchestra, UVU Wind Symphony and Chamber Orchestra, and at numerous colleges and universities throughout the country. Previously he served appointments with the Erie Philharmonic, New Haven Symphony, Utah Lyric Opera, Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, Utah Brass Quintet, Alpine Chamber Winds, and Park City Chamber Music Festival. He has performed as extra/substitute horn with numerous orchestras including the American Symphony, Utah Symphony, North Carolina Symphony, Boise Philharmonic, Richmond Symphony, Harrisburg Symphony, Louisiana Philharmonic, Dallas Wind Symphony, Utah Chamber Orchestra, and many others.
Wallace is also active in the recording industry including soundtracks for motion pictures, HBO, ESPN, Disney, several notable video games, and the Rock album “Boxer” by The National, which has sold more than 500,000 copies. He has performed with Josh Groban, Pink Martini, the Mambo Kings, and contemporary ensembles such as Alarm Will Sound, TACTUS, New Music New Haven, Stony Brook Contemporary Chamber Players, and at the Bang on a Can Marathon at the World Financial Center in NYC. He is currently recording a CD of new works for horn, featuring compositions by Robert Bradshaw, Peter Gilbert, and Scott Wise.
